I saw your story here on Transplant Cafe website and I actually started crying. To think, that there are still people in this world who just don't think of themselves, but do think about others'. I have been on Kidney Dialysis since June 2005 and have been on the waiting list since December 2007.
I do have a "live donor" that may be able to donate me one of his kidneys but we are waiting for the "compatibility test to come back. Univ. of North Carolina, Chapel Hill said that results should come back end of this month, beginning August. Even, if we are not a match, it was very kind of my donor to even consider. I truly wish that your story could be shown on all stations across the USA. Every one could learn from you.

I second what Jim said Tom.. You are the MAN! By the way, since you work for the FBI, maybe you can make sure that last "miss understanding" is off my record? lol.. ; )

Tom, saw your story here on transplant cafe, people like you and my wife are the greatest, everyone thinks recipients are hero's but we have no choice, people like you do and still, you give the gift of life. Thanks from a heart and kidney recipient.. Jim Kane
