Thanks for reaching out Holdol, and for the invitation to connect on the transplant cafe. I just realized that I had not logged in months, but I am happy to report that my son finally got his Gift of Life last month thanks to the incredible generosity of a best friend.

Take care, keep sharing, and my best wishes for the holidays to you and your family.

Hey Holly, Yes! I pray for GOD to guide me with my gift. I wonder all the time. I have been really busy with Lifenet, giving many talks and volunteering for whatever they need. My talk was ok. I am not sure how it went, I feel my words could have been better. It was to a large group of organ donor which was hard. When I began to speak, I think I lost my deep emotional thoughts. I feel a little down about it even though there were many donor familes waiting in line to talk to me. It was must hard and I could have done better. I am not a public speaker, but learn more each day. I just want to come from my heart.... I feel so much for these people...
Did you get my message I sent you about RS? Heard all about Will. I hope you received it, Too tired to rewrite it now. Its late. We must have a purpose, and I believe we well have direction. I think you are well on your way. Sending you a hug, you awesome woman!!

sorry for the delay in getting back to you.......just so busy......living this NEW life. I just passed my 6 month date and I just find myself giving it. Walking five miles daily ( 16 to 18 min. mile) and just last week hitting the golf course (3 games walking the course with my clubs). I just received the okay from my doctors to travel.......now life really begins.

Hey Holly, Please tell your sisters I said hello. I too wish I lived closer. I think your are so fun, cute, crazy, happy, and very cool...........Wow, I think you are awesome!! One day or even maybe a weekend, a group of us should fly in somewhere and have a visit if fun. This is easier said than done, but I do think it would be a fun annual thing to do . What do you think..? Whats up with will? I am so lucky to have met so many nice people. I have two sisters in Nashville, which to get there I go straight through Knoxville. I'm happy ot hear you and Will are talking. You both seem to have a great deal in common, and you make a cute couple. Don't tell Will I said that, he would laugh and think I am being too girly. Take care of yourself and be happy. Talk to you soon I hope. Say hi to Will too. ANNEK

Hi Holdol, Thank you for the welcome message. I haven't ever been to the world transplat games, was at the European heart & lung transplant games a couple of times, which was good fun. Have you competed in any transplant games?

Hi Holdol,
Good to hear from you and thanks for asking. I am doing much better. I started back to work on Tuesday, easing into it slowly and not overdoing it. That was a huge psychological step forward. I definitely feel that a corner has been turned- my energy level is improving, I no longer have that vague "sick" feeling that I had for so many weeks, and I have gained badly need weight (for a while I was wondering whether I could fit into the clothes I used to wear in middle school (if I still had them). However, regardless of what goes on, I feel blessed everytime I feel my heart beating strong.

I was reading your story; wow, that is amazing. You never what can happen on any given day, which is why we need to cherish each moment. In a sense, we may be lucky because the recognition that each moment is precious was made blantantly clear to us, whereas others all too often take their health and life for granted. I hope you are enjoying your weekend and pray that you continue to do well.

Thank you, I am only 26 and I am on the Liver Transplant list. I was listed about 3 months ago. Just trying to prepare and get ready for the journey ahead! I am married and have a 2 year old son. I think that it is amazing that you got a liver transplant. I have and have had Hep C since birth. So 26 years of damages to your liver it is time for a new one. Well I could go on and on... But thank you for my first add!
