HI Lex...Thanks for the add. Just wanted to let you know that you are an amazing woman. I too have given the gift of life by way of my right Kidney and my recipient has been returned to her family, healthy and happy. The power of love is astounding. I hope you pass all the testings and requirements necessary. Being a living donor makes us special, having the heart to do it, makes us Hero's!!! Its amazing that you are willing to donate part of your liver to a total stranger. I have heard that the risk to the donor is worse than for the recipient. My 22 year old daughter needs a third liver and I cannot get her listed because if her non compliance issues. I managed to get her an evaluation at the Albert Einstein institute but that doesnt mean they will list her. Currently she has been hospitalized for pneumonia for the last 30 days and its not responding all that great to the antibiotics but hopefully she will get well enough to get the evaluation soon. GOD BLESS YOU. you have no idea of the tears of joy and the fellings of relief you will provide to a family that is about to lose their loved one...You are one in a million and I am proud to be your friend....Much love to you ...Sandi
