Hi Laura, I had a great time. I did the 5K and played basketball where we were 1-1 and I pulled a hamstring in the second game. I was scheduled to do long jump and softball throw but couldn't because of the injury.
But it was quite an event! Opening ceremony was really emotional.

Hey Laura! After moving to Ohio - closer to OSU and now I am a patient with them rather back in MN... a few of my friends go to Cleveland Clinic and even another girl just adamently told her doctor she was not going to take prednisone anymore and got off it. It really is different Transplant Center to transplant Center.... WI is tough I have heard even when i first had my TX - I was on lower doses of some at 1 year when a girl in Green Bay - 5 years out couldn't get below 10mg. ( I had my TX in MN.) Right now - I am only on 8 meds now, 2 are vitamins and 3 are anti-rejection. One of my other friends is only on cell-cept for anti-rejection.
Hope this helps but sometimes you are stuck if the doctors are set in there ways... my friend, Vicky left OSU and went to Cleveland Clinic for that reason.
