Colorado's Newest License Plate

Colorado has officially joined 22 other states around the nation in raising awareness about organ and tissue donation through specialty license plates! In May 2009, the Colorado General Assembly approved legislation to create a special Donate Life license plate in Colorado, a project initiated by the American Transplant Foundation.

Colorado drivers will soon be able to show their support for organ and tissue donation when the new specialty plates become available for purchase on January 1, 2010. To request to receive more information about purchasing the plates, please visit the American Transplant Foundation’s website.
