Hello Everyone

I accidently ran into your site and glad I had.   It is nice to share your concerns and fears with other who have or about ready to go through what I had.  Isn't it wonderful to get a second chance?   I had my transplant in 1971 from my father.  I was 17 and will be 60 next month. I enjoy my husband and our four kids ( in fact our cats )  We have Ozzie, a brown and black tabby, Harriet, a Tuxedo,  Kiki a 6 toe Hemmingway,and our new baby Floyd,  a solid white with a little skid of tan on top…

Summer 2012

Really, really sorry I can't make it to the Transplant Games but as a "senior" I competed in the 2012 TN Senior Olympics and won 3 medals: bronze in the 1500 Powerwalk, silver in the Triple Jump, and GOLD in the 10K! And this was with men my own age who still run with all original parts and equipment...organ recipients can do anything!

My profile photo is from the top of Mt Evans in CO: 14,265 ft. in June. Great trip to Denver included my 40th HS reunion and a reunion of our HS show…
