I'm single and have had that problem with some women. If I tell them I had a Liver Transplant, they look at me as if I was Frankenstein. I now never remove my shirt in public,(family pool parties etc.) even with a ton of SPF50. It's a shame to cover…

- I do bloodwork every 4 months or so for liver tests. However, I am now neutropenic and have a CBC drawn every Monday plus a shot of Neupogen 2X a week.

- I lived in Lyndhurst back in the 80's, and Hackensack when I moved to Florida.
My liver transplant was also at UMD in Newark on 3/24/98 which was done by Dr. Fisher. The man saved my life, and the whole team was excellent.
I remember Dr. Koneru and Dr. Wilson.
My medication is Prograf and I'm on one of the lowest doses for the past 3 or 4 years of 0.5 mg. 2x a day.
