adhesion surgery

I had my transplant Oct. 23 2007.  The area above my new kidney protruded and was painful. My Dr always examined me lying down and said all was well. My numbers were good so I assumed it to be normal. Last summer the area grew in size and squished when touched. I was diagnosed with a hernia. Had the surgery in Sept of 2012. A beautiful client of ours at the Veterinary clinic where I work offered to give me a kidnay and it was a match. I actually had 16 people that offered. Most were clients. My kids both were unable to be donors. Emily was 33 at the time and preparing to me married. I recieved the transplant 5 years ago this October. I am to grateful for this gift.

I was very fortunate to recieve a kidney before I needed dialysis. I had the fistula done in my arem and had blown a blood clot the first week. It would have not been useable. It worked out so well for me.
