About Me: Please use this space to tell the community about you and your unique experience with transplantation:
I had my small bowel transplant 5/15/07. This was necessary due to scar tissue forming around my bowel and cutting off the blood supply. I was a very healthy and beautiful 50+ woman before my transplant. I am now a healthy and beautiful 59 yr. old woman with a new body inside and out. Medication changed my shape, stamina and outlook on life. Important to me now is to Live Life to the Fullest.
