working on my 2nd yr and new to this tx cafe

I got a new liver 12/7/07 after being very sick for very long, I have a whole new life but as I get better physically I feel very isolated emotionally, my old friends are gone, and I have trouble relating to people that don't know or understand the tx experience. anyone out there that feels the same (or not) please reply and tell me I'm not alone or nuts! it has been a long hard journey just getting this far and want to get fully back into living

They dont treat me any different and they are all my football team mates and my coworkers that i work with everyday.. I love all of them.. It is a long hard jorney for all of us that has went thru any kind of transplant, cuz ppl really have no clue of what we have to go thru.. The only ones that do understand are the caretakers that take care of us while we are in our healing process.. I have much respect for all caregiver's.. If it wasnt for them i dont think alot of us would be where we are today.. Good luck on the good health ther guy.. Vyckie
