I'm on Lovaza as well--4 per day--my trig were very high but went down 200 pts after taking Lovaza-200 hundred more to go-----how high are your trig??

Don't worry about it, they will go away once you are able to exercise more frequently--I used to get mine in the middle of the night and they lasted about 15 min-----never got hot flashes--now you know what we go thru when we get them w/o transplant…

- I can't believe you didn't answer the phone,lol. I jump if the phone rings after 9 pm,lol. Lactulose is awful indeed,but hey,keeps my mind somewhat in tact.
So how come you dcouldn't walk,was is because of the surgery,the cut?

- I'm so happy for you! What comes through your mind when you rec the call?
Did it happen during the night? If you don't mind my asking,how much lactulose did you take daily. I take 3 tblsp a day,if i take more I have bad diarrhea. And find sometimes I am still in a daze. Did you have high blood sugar caused by lactulose? I've heard that it might give you diabetese and i just rec'd a call from my dr on friday that i must get my glucose checked tomorrow. Sorry for so many questions,hope you don't mind. What blood type are you. I just can't wait for the day,it is so hard emotionally.

- Hi Marjorie,
Congratulations on receiving your new liver and a new lease on life! I am happy to know that you are doing very well and I pray that things continue that way for you. I personally believe that once a transplanted person has gotten as far as you have and doing well, the rest is up to the recipient to follow the rules and guidelines of transplantation and things will work out just fine.
I celebrated 2 years and 7 months on Friday 2, 2009 and I have not had any complications to date and I was a real mess before the transplant.
May God continue to bless you and stay healthy!

- Hello Marjory,I too have PBC. I live in Canada,have been on the waiting list since June 07.How was it for you with PBC,did you have it for long before you rec'd your tx? I am not at the worse stage after what I have heard,I'm having some problems with high ammonia but controlled with lactulose and have varacies which I get checked every 4 to 5 months. Wishing you a happy healthy and long life with your new liver!!!! Take care,Diane
