My 25 year old son died in March 2008 as a result of a rugby accident and subsequent brain death. All his organs were donated and all recipients are doing well. Joe, the recipient of his liver, has become a part of my family and he just had a baby boy who he named after my son Todd. I feel blessed that Todd was able to save Joe's life.....it brings me comfort.

Ellie, I just wanted to say hi and thank you for being a donor family! You and your son Todd are truly amazing :) So glad that his liver recipient is a part of your life. I think that's great and wish that I could do the same with my donor family. Hope all is well and take care :)
