Mom to an infant recipient of a heart. She received her heart in July of 2009 and she is doing well, although she has had to level 3 rejections and has been 1A rejection for all but one biopsy since receiving her heart. She is small for her age, but is definitely a smart, happy and (relatively) healthy girl! We're so happy to have her with us - and thankful to the donor family for making what must have been a really difficult decision.
