"You never stop! I had a transplant for 25 years. I woke up everyday thinking of that day it would happen to me. well that day came in Feb of 2009. Be thankful of everyday and enjoy life. Nobody knows what tomorrow brings."

I'm 61 years old.I had to wait a year for my gift.I was 3 days from not making it out of the hospital. I spent 5.5 months at Penn.I'm now a full time volunteer with the Gift of Life Program in Philadelphia and also a Sheppard and volunteer with the Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.My affiliation is that i'm a member of Cresent Temple Shrine in New Jersey along with being a volunteer with the Lions eye Bank of the Deleware Valley.I was gifted with a cornea in 1988.I want to spend the rest of my helping others and to give a little something back to society.

Leaves in Poconos usually in full color mid October but this is affected by rainfall before leaves change colorand the difference in daytime vs. nighttime temperature.
Best bet is to phone locals and ask. If you don't know anyone, phone local tourist organization or local photo club...This applies anywhere you plan to travel.Higher elevations usually change sooner.
