Vanderbilt is truly a place of miracles. Mom is doing well, just tired and weak still. She's actually at Vanderbilt today for labs and weekly appointment with Dr. Gordon. I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to welcome you to the cafe. I am also a liver tx (March2006). Also, congratulations on being almost 9 mths out. You are right, it is a very scarey experience and you do at first, feel like you are losing control but it does get better. I just joined here in Sept. and have found answers to the questions that I had and have learned a lot also. The best is the support you receive. Everyone is very positive, kind and helpful. Look around, join a few groups, visit discussions, ask questions and make comments. Feel free to jump right in. Best wishes to you and good health.
