I found out today I have 73% antibioties ? Still don't understand it but I do understand that it's going to be very hard to match, but not impossible. Even though it is going to be hard to match it doesn't affect the scoring for UNOS.

Back in 96 or 97 3 lots of prolastin I received came from a blood donor that had CJK human mad cow disease they say they don't think you can get it from prolastin but the only way they can test for it is after you've passed and since they can't tell…

I have been listed over 2 years my insurance dictates where I am transplanted and of course there is a long list. I am pretty healty except have trouble breathing, I am an Alpha. It has now been 3 years since I listed in Dallas and now I have been listed in San Antonio for the past 2 monts.

I am pretty healthy except for not being able to breath. I am duel listed at 2 different centers which for now means double the doctor visits, but I feel fortunate to be able to do this. I have met several friends thru this process who have had such great results with transplant it makes the waiting process a lttle less stressful.

Dear Pam Thanks for your kind comments about my trip to hospital.The last time I was called I had been shaved, in a gown and met the anaesthetist before I was told it was a no go.This time was a bit easier to deal with because it was quite soon into the process when they said no.In total I have had 5 calls two of which I couldn't attend because of flu and a possible chest infection.But I live in hope for the next time.I wish you all the best with your wait I hope we will both be able to post our feelings about having new lungs very soon.

lol. yeah Dr. Weston said end of April was ok to travel if I was outta here by then and my caregiver is going to be with me. =D He just said to get out go to the bathroom and stretch about every 100 minutes. Lil over and hour and a half. =D
