I watched the episode last night and the only question I had was the patient had ALS but was still able to donate. Did Three Rivers stretch the truth a little or can ALS patients be donors. I'd appreciate feedback on this please.

Clint Sherbondy said… - Mike, I don't think I will be a participant in the games next year. I am trying to get my check up the same time as the games. I was transplanted at the U of Wisconsin and spent most of my time in the VA Hospital there in Madison. So I am trying to get the dates to work out; I will then ride over and watch the games. If I can get all my Motorcycle trips to work out next summer I will be on the road most of the summer and I will have no time to train for an event. I will try to keep in touch so I can hopefully find you and the team in Madison next summer.

Second date was nice.
Pros: he paid for the meal again, I was able to talk him into driving me home (I have a license but I don't drive or have a car), he was polite and whatnot, second hug wasn't as awkward (read below).
Cons: I personally don't like his new haircut (too short! he's one of those where it makes his head look pointy), repeated two stories (didn't have to nerve to tell him I'd heard them), no kiss when we pulled up to my apartment complex!! He leaned in for a hug (which WAS nicer since we were sitting in his car (which is HUMONGOUS to a shortie like me)) but I thought, "huh?" I was kind of hoping for a kiss!
Anyway, he went to a family reunion this past weekend and caught a fever. He thinks (and is hoping) that it's just a sinus infection courtesy of his sister. I DO like him and I hope date # 3 happens in the near future. :-)

Saw that we both live in Lakewood, so thought I'd say hello and a Happy New Year!
Hope your 2nd transplanted kidney is holding up well. My brother is taking the same immunospressants as you. So far the kidney I donated is holding up well and pray it continues for many more years.
