Recipients: In This Space, Feel Free To Write About Those You Are Grateful to for Receiving The Gift Of Life:
My son is on the waiting list right now for a small bowel.
If You Are WAITING for a Transplant, Please Feel Free to Tell the Community About Your Experience With the Waiting Process.. To Help Us Get to Know You Better and Understand What You're Going Through:
My son has been on the waiting list since September of this year. It is a very stressful time on our whole family. We have four children total and the waiting is hard on everyone!
What Do You Do For a Living? What Are Your Passions, Hobbies, Passtimes, Dreams and Goals for the Future?
For the past three years I have become a full time 'nurse' to my son. My life revolves around tpn, meds, and hospital stays. I think our whole family's wish is for our little Danny to get better so we can have some normalcy back in our life.
About Me: Please use this space to tell the community about you and your unique experience with transplantation:
I still can't believe that my son needs a transplant. It has been a long three years in which we watched him get sicker and sicker. I think this whole experience has been overwhelming for myself and my husband-I can't imagine how difficult it must be for Danny and our othe three boys. Our four year old was only one when Danny got sick-he thinks the hospital is our other home and ER visits and hospital stays are normal.
