the other show dropped! @ weeks ago we were in Tenn visiting family, and David got very ill. He ended up at UT medical center for a week, they let him out, we came home on Saturday to Savannah and was back in the hospital Monday Morning. We came home thursday and Now we are at Piedmont in Atlanta. His MELD score is going back and forth between 20 and 25 or so. But he is still overweight. Having a hard time losing it. We cant get his albumin up. Any advice?

Can anyone out there help me? I am soo scared! I know my husband is the one needing a transplant, but why does it seem so much harder for me than for him. Yes, he is strong, but Damn! I was doing good, but the closer it gets, the worse I get. I am strong and have yet to get upset in front of him, he doesnt need to see that! But, all I do is think about it. My best friend passed away in November of 09 after a faileed heart transplant. It has scared me so bad. Last year alone I lost my 2 best…

I know the feeling... but I can help you out on getting yourself stronger and more into your own juandra. It has taken me years with dealing with Jessie's liver disease. If you can... get back in touch with me... I can definately SHOW you how to get get into the groove and feel groovey. I know this is not an easy thing and it is different for each situation. But the best thing right now is for us to trade notes and be stronger and stronger for them..........each and every day! Because we love them!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fundraisers? I am a great promoter!

THAT'S NOT ALWAYS A BAD THING. IT MADE ME LISTEN TO THEM AND LET THEM HELP ME, EVEN WHEN I DIDN'T NEED HELP. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT FAMILY MEMBERS ARE IN A MORE DIFFICULT POSITION.
WHILE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL, MY HUSBAND AND I SAW A MAN IN DESTRESS IN THE LOUNGE. WE STARTED TALKING....HIS STEP DAUGHTER WAS CONVINCED SHE WAS GOING TO DIE DURING HER LIVER TRANSPLANT SURGERY. THE NEXT DAY SHE WAS AN INFORMATIONAL CLASS. SHE WAS DRESSED IN HER OWN CLOTHES, HER HAIR WAS CURLED AND SHE WAS IN FULL MAKEUP.
