AlloMap is absolutely safe and effective for treatment in heart transplant patients. I am a heart transplant recipient who has relied on AlloMap for testing now for a couple of years. I participated in a study through my hospital and had only Alloma…

I am 2 years and 4 months post TX. Love the Allomap! I just got a 29-no follow up biopsy. My doc told me that they are finding that if the Allomap comes back good....it's good. If it is high, then the Allomap isn't that great at telling them how bad…

Haven't had that done. I am four years out and doing great. Some folks think I am still on predizone -- been off a long time. Remember to let the folks who rule us know that our kidney tx need more protection (they cut their meds after a few years)…

Hi Terri - I definitely had/have memory problems. Read your med labels and I believe some might explain memory lapses. Also perhaps the anesthesia has something to do with it. I do hope your family has patience for you. I know mine had to develop pa…

The scoring is 0 to 40 and I started at 30 and have slowly gotten to 37 over four years. Twice now I have had to have biopsy after Allomap, so there are those "false/positives". Luckily they have both been negative. However, did have bout of pneumon…

Hi Janet I was on the Allomap clinical trial , i have been doing Allomap for two years. i think the score range is from 0 to 40 . my last score was 20 and i did not have to have a biopsy. I think once your score is over 30 then they do a biopsy to m…

Hi Janet, I haven't been allowed to have the Allomap test done as UW Madison feels there needs to be more studies done before they use it, however it sure looks to be a good thing. Just a simple blood draw is alot easier to deal with than a physical…

Hi Janet. So is a score of 37 representative of a higher risk of rejection? I am sorry to hear you must have a biopsy. In my province they don't have that test yet, so I'm curious about how it works. I hope everything turns out great for you of co…

Wondering if anyone is doing Allomap testing? I just had mine done and I got a score of 37 and now I have to go do a biopsy tomorrow... to be on the "safe" side.

Go in tomorrow for routine checkup at UCSF.... it's a good thing because I have a bit of cold/cough (no fever)!
