"All You" Article from July 2004

Frederick couldn’t believe what he was seeing. On his computer screen was an e-mail from Stephanie, an old friend from high school in Greenbelt. “I thought she was dead”, explains Frederick, 42, who has known Stephanie since the fifth grade. The two had lost contact with each other after high school graduation, then, during college, he had heard a rumor that Stephanie had died from kidney problems. Stephanie, very much alive, had written Frederick about a class reunion he was organizing. “I had…See More

I would like to meet someone to co-author or ghostwrite a book expanding on the short story about my Wife and me [see my latest Blog] to raise Organ Donor Awareness and the National Kidney Foundation's Transplant Games.

About how I found Stephanie after 20 years and how I came to give her a kidney. (This November 7th, 2010 will be 10 years that I gave Stephanie a kidney)

A portion of the profits of the sale of the book will go to the National Kidney Foundation.

I have an outline and several chapters written; however I need someone to bring it all together into a novel.

Here we go again....and again!

So I had my first liver tx in 2005 (living donor) and had bile duct issues. I had a 2nd tx March 16th and have bile duct problems yet again and now I'm faced with needing a 3rd tx. Has anyone out there had 3 transplants? I've been stuck in hospital since March and the doctors want to send me home...even though I still require IV antibiotics and a VACC system. My family and I are quite nervous.
