- I had a transplant 3yrs ago...on 05-05-05. I appreciate every day I am blessed to enjoy....as I never expected to survive. I am active with volunteering, participate in the Transplant Games and take care of my elderly parents.
I started a bicycling group for Madison Transplant recipients...so if you are near by...email me and come ride with us.

thanks for your comment. Hope you are doing well. I think you are little confuse the transplant game i am trying to organise is not in India its in Nepal. Actually my transplant was done in India. But i am from Nepal. India is my neighbor country. Nice to hear you participate in US Games in Cycling and best of luck for this year. would you please share your experience about transplant games there. I need some help about rules and activities about marathon.

I have been thinking about putting that photo on a cake for a little party at work to celebrate my 3yrs post transplant party. - Do you happen to know the girls in the photo? I just think that it is a perfect photo since I had a kid/panc tx. That is a very famous photo down here in Oklahoma. It has been in news letters and is on our Team website. I would like to know how they made the costumes. I mean for me that would be a great halloween costume for me! Lol. I will be bowling in Madison next summer. I also am thinking of doing the 5k walk, co-ed basketball. I know alot of people didn't like the basketball set-up in Pittsburgh with the floor being like rubber mats. I mean with the games hopefully being on the Badgers campus I would think they could use their gym, but what do I know? :) But yeah if you know the girls in the photo let me know if there is a way to get in touch with them or one of them. Do you know or have you heard what or where the venues are or going to be next summer in madison? I have never been to Madison before. Madison will be my 2nd US games to attend. I went to Pittsburgh last summer and I will be attending the World GAmes in Australia in August. My transplant (kidney/pancreas) has allowed me to experience so much in life that I was locked out of or at least, never expected or thought I would be doing. Praise GOD!

- hello..well i'm not sporty kinda person, i just go to the gym to work out that is why i'm so excited to do some exercise soon cuase i gain a lot of weight due to my prednisone. so how long you been a nurse at cpmc? is it okay to be a nurse or work in medical field after the tx? cause i'm plaaning to take up nursing or radiologic technology or any medical related jobs. well congratulations to your 4'th year anniversary. i wish you good health and more years to come.
