- My name is Josh I received a Kidney on April 18,2008. There were some complications after Transplant i spent over a month at OSU.How i found out about my condition my school had a blood drive so i thought i would participate,when they pricked my finger they said u cannot donate and need to seek a doctor soon.i had some blood work done and i found out i was in renal failure i was a senior in high school.i spent my 19th b-day at OSU but that's ok because this time i was feeling much better in my stay and was definitely ready to go home.I'm now doing great although my liver enzymes stay elevated they think due to the Neoral.I am now hoping to return to further my education in Auto Diesel Mechanics just praying finances will come through. i believe in God and trust him in everything that he has in store for my life. My mother is also waiting on a kidney transplant shes been on dialysis for 7 years.

Darlene Sapienza said… - Hope you are doing well. I had a liver transplant in July of 2008. It's still very difficult. I don't seem to be able to talk to anyone that's gone through a liver transplant that lives near Cincinnati. God bless you.
