- Unique? I doubt that especially among a group of people rowing the same boats as my husband and I have rowed. I am the spouse of a man who received a left lung 2/16/97, a kidney from our youngest son on 2/7/07, and a right lung 7/07. He is now in renal failure which puts us back in the journey of a kidney transplant.
