About Me: Please use this space to tell the community about yourself and your unique experience with transplantation:
I arrived in St Louis April 8th, '04 with my sister/caregiver. I was out of options so had NO FEAR of the surgery. Being a Christian, knowing my church was praying for me, I knew God would answer my prayer for a nearly perfect DNA match to my body. April 8th, 09 is the first time I have been sick in almost 5 years. I got a horrible head/chest cold, and it took almost a month to shake it off. Lung function dropped like a rock, but now it is back better then when I got sick. I give credit to taking Yoga lessons to perfect my breathing, plus my normal excersise routine. Life is great!!!

A dear transplant friend from Okla. dropped me a note asking me to join her.
