hysterectomy after kidney transplantation

Has any women had a hysterectomy after a kidney transplant and what was the outcome and how long was the surgery and did the kidney doctors help perform the surgery? Give back feedback plz.

I am 34 years out and have 2 wonderful kids with no birth defects, my husband and his two kids along with mine is my world. Was a fear of that. Still on the old school drugs. There has been some minor set backs but nothing compared to the donation of my donors. Have a story I will tell someday.

I had my first kidney for over 34 years had two boys now 20 and 22 and have been married now for over 25 years to a wonderful man, soul mate, friend and donor of my second kidney on 2/14/07. I'm on Cellcept (brand name from Roche) for SLE. Works great for joint pain, but I really can't afford the medicine. Aetna makes me pay a 1/3rd copay, and that is near $564/mo. for the therapeutic dosage (3000mg/day). No one can help, not even Roche…
