Hi Beth,so glad to hear from you,and yes most definitly I will pray now....and still keep you and Rick in my prayers.Father God I come before you in the most powerful name of Jesus!I lift Rick and Beth up to you my God! O dear Jesus, believing the Dr's report can be so discouraging at times and our adversary tends to bombard our minds with fear and unbelief.but you O God have promised and you are not a man that you should lie.....you have not given us the spirit of fear, but of Love, and of Power, and of a sound mind.I pray that these 3 spirits that come from only you overtake them, that they may stand and holdfast to every promise that has been promised to them that believe......ISA.53 says who has believed our report, and to whom has the arm of Lord been revealed? I believe that the arm of the Lord has been revealed to them that believe the report.......that he was wounded for our transgressions, and that he was bruised for our iniquities, and the chastisement for our peace was upon him,and by his stripes are healed.ISA 53.5 dear God help us all in our areas of little faith,if were going to believe, let us believe it all, your report, your promises after all you are not a man that you should lie, but if you said it you will do it and if you spoke it you will bring it to pass, father fill Rick and Beth's hearts with comfort and peace like only you can... give them joy unspeakable and full of glory....in JESUS name AMEN!!!!! Beth holdfast, encourage one another in the faith, stay focused on the one who loved us while were yet sinners...remember...we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, have a blessed day in Jesus!

Hi Beth, thank you so much first of all for the friend invitation which I have gladly accepted, secondly for your words of encouragement. Isn't Jesus great? The only reason Rick and I are still around is because of his love and grace, I can't help but wonder where I would be right now if I would have never cried out to him to help me and to save me from my lifestyle as a heroin addict. You know in my most desperate moment as an addict he set me free instantly without any withdrawal symptoms at all just like that from one moment to the next. Beth I will you and Rick in our prayers God bless you, Randy

I did not know about those 2 places. Thanks for the info. I'll keep those phone numbers. It looks like now that we are not going to be in the study. The nurse called today and said that the project manager had removed him because he's allergic to the cath dye. If he doesn't take Prednisone before the cath he gets hives and looks like a lobster and is red from head to toe and itches. Anyway, even though they were aware of this before all of the testing was done, they've decided that he didn't qualify. Needless to say we are both disappointed. Anyway, thanks again for the info. Let's keep each other updated. I need to get on this site more than I have. I've barely looked around it. Talk to you later.

We have been staying at the Extended Stay Deluxe on Braeswood Blvd. Since it has the shuttle it was in a good location for us. We have learned what other "equiqment" to take as far as the kitchenette goes, but we were very comfortable there.

What hospital were you visiting? We are at St. Lukes. I couldn't believe how big the entire Medical Center complex was! I was totally lost the first few days just trying to get my bearing as to where we were in relation to the hotel. Finally figured it out the last day we were there. But I did find the Kroger grocery store on my own and was very proud of myself! We are from a small town (18,000) in Northeast Arkansas where everything is really close together so it takes some getting used to.

I lost my husband on Aug, 30. He was two in a half years post Liver Transplant. After the transplant, he had heart problems. He went in on July 17 for Mitral Valve replacement and to remove a blood clot from his left atrium. The clot was the size of a lemon. He had a massive stroke from the clot being removed. He never got off the ventilator. He spent 6 weeks in the ICU, went into kidney failure and had Sepsis and numourous lung infections. Having no immune system compromised his healing. He…
