Zoe, Hi! Just wondering if you could just share with me what to expect. I will be on the list for double lung transplant any day now! I know that everyone is different, but I guess I am wondering more than anything about what to expect during hospitalization and after you get home...I guess whatever you can tell me!! Thanks!

Brad, that is awesome! I thought I was doing well, I will celebrate 13 yrs in Nov. double lung transplant. I have done remarkebly well. Its so nice to know there is someone else out there that has made it so long. I had emphysema for so long, I had forgotten what it was like to take a breath without struggling for it.
I had my transplant Nov. 10,1997 in Madison, Wi., the Drs. and nurses there were all really great. I hope we can get to know each other, I have never met anyone else that has done so well. Keep in touch.
