Sylvia, have you tried the Peg-Interferon? I did 10 months and finally stopped when I started having seriously strange thoughts. But my viral load has been undetectable for 4 years -carlos

Isn't life and the green side of the grass great?! I'm 16 months into my first, named FRED by my Grandson. And I could not agree more, the staff at all the transplant hospitals (Shands Gainesville Fl for me)know what they are doing. But the greatest blessing does come from God,isn't SHE GREAT?!
Congrats and Woopie to you

Congratulations Mike! Isn't life great! God's wonders at work. Here's to many years of happiness and contentment. You should give yourself a pat on the back for taking such good care of yourself. Have a wonderful day!

My heart is dancing with joy for you. Congratulations to you, Mike, on reaching this milestone. I hope that you will have many more reasons for celebrations in the future. I agree too that I would not be here without God as I celebrated my fourth year post multivisceral transplant earlier in the month. I am so happy to be alive so that I can be here to rejoice in your own remarkable journey. Best of wishes to you.

My 22 year old daughter is at HUP right now battling pneumonia and is curently in need of a third liver. HUP will not list her because of some appts she missed and a biopsy. Stay compliant in every detail or you may not be eligible for a third. She lost her first due to chronic at age 18 and is losing the second at the age of 22 for chronic as well. Alber einstein has agreed to evaluate her if she can kick the pnemonia but its not looking great so far. Shes been inpatient and battling it for a month now...I am glad you are doing well,,,,STAY COMPLIANT!!!! penn is really picky...God Bless...Sandi

If we are lucky enough to receive the Gift of Life and have a second chance, I would hope everyone would follow their Hospital recommendations in helping to prevent any complications that might arise.
