Hello,
I am a journalist working for the programme "Temps Présents" on Suisse television (http://www.tsr.ch/emissions/temps-present/). This is one of our channel's flagship documentary shows and has been part of its programme for the last 30 years.
We are currently preparing a 26-minute story on the so-called Cellular Memory theory -- i.e. the theory according to which a part of our memories/ tastes etc. is passed on with our organs to possible recipients. One part of this documentary will be an interview with a Swiss woman talking about her own cellular memory experience.
But we are also looking into filming in the US, where there are a lot of such cases and research in this area is quite advanced.
We are trying to get in touch with organ recipients, who have had such experiences.
The documentary we are preparing will be very balanced. We are not trying to take sides, but will present both kinds of view -- i.e. those of people who are very skeptical of the cellular memory theory and of people who believe in it.
But we already have people who are critical of the theory. So now we are looking for heart transplant recipients, who have had a cellular memory experience and who is already in touch with the donor family.
We would like to interview the recipient face to face. We would also need to interview the donor family, who could then tell us if they believe some part of their former family member has been passed on to the organ recipient.
We are planning on coming to the US around the 14th of February. We will be filming in Tucson and Scottsdale, Arizona. We could do this additional interview either beforehand or afterwards. We would be happy to come and see the recipient/ donor family where they are.
Please know that we are a highly professional team and fully aware of the delicacy of the matter. We would of course respect our interviewees to the fullest.
Please do feel free to email or call me (0033 6 76 93 07 84) if you need any further information.
Many thanks and best regards,
Lisa Louis

Permalink Reply by Inspiring on January 31, 2012 at 1:34pm I think this is an excellent idea. I would like to suggest that this promotion be extended to other transplant and/organ sites.
I would not list the 2 other transplant/organ sites/blogs that I am also a member, unless I am asked to do so.
Good luck in your quest in finding heart transplant recipients with cellular memory experience and are in touch with their donor family.
