Anyone on here have High Risk Insurance?  I have HIRSP in Wisconsin and it helps with my meds.  It kicks in to cover when I am in the donut hole as well as for my high cost co-pays.  I was informed today by a supervisor of Medi Gap that it is on shaky ground and there are plans to do away with HIRSP coverage in Wisconsin.  She said right now we are ok, but by 2020 it will be no more.  She said we all need to flood our congressmen with calls and letters explaining how important it is for us. For instance:  My meds cost $4,500 per month, after Medicare Part D my Co-Pay is $1,500 and after HIRSP - $200.00.  There is no way I would be able to pay my meds without their help.  If you are on it and don't have high cost of meds yet, believe me, I am 21 years9 months out and more things happent that require expensive drugs and we need to keep what coverage we have.  Will you please consider writing to your congressmen!
