I'm not sure how to answer this question other than, "No". If your heart stops, you die. If your lungs don't function, you die. If your liver stops functioning, eventually you die. Kidneys are the same, eventually (without intervention) you die. Pancreas is debatable, but Diabetes unchecked will eventually kill you as well, so basically it's just as important. I know this sounds simplified, but maybe if you could give us a little more detail in your question we could give a better answer.
